#Learn SQL Basics with QueryPie

Exciting news! QueryPie (ver. 5.2.0) has added SQL Tutorial content users can explore while logged in as Guest, with sample connections and queries.

Here's a quick overview of how it works!

1. Download QueryPie

You can download the Standard version of QueryPie for free on our website. We support Windows/Mac/Linux environments, so please choose to make sure you have the correct download file. You can also check available data sources and system requirement below:

💻 2. Install QueryPie

After downloading the installation file, you can run the application. As soon as QueryPie launches, you will see the message on the bottom left corner: Hello Guest!👋

To begin exploring the tutorial, click ‘[MySQL] Sample Connection’ on the right side of the main screen.

📑 3. See Query Directories

Once you connect to the sample database, you can see the default Queries Directory on the right side. To view the queries, double click on a sample query from the Query Directory.

🙌 4. Run the query and view the results!

Click 'SQL Run' and check out the results.

These are just some of the useful features QueryPie has to offer:

  • Convenient Object Information Panel and Data Filtering
  • Multiple SQL Query Execution
  • Auto-Complete and Copy SQL
  • SQL History

But you can't add a new connection or import/export in guest mode.
