Payroll Co., Ltd., provider of the HR BPaaS payroll calculation service for large enterprises, announced that it has entered into a technology partnership in AI and security with QueryPie, Inc., provider of an integrated data governance platform, and QueryPie Japan G.K., its Japanese subsidiary.

The partnership applies QueryPie's advanced security technology, access control, data governance capabilities, and current AI integration expertise to Payroll's AI-powered payroll solution development. Payroll says the collaboration will help it bring secure and reliable AI services to market quickly and accelerate innovation in HR and payroll operations.

Through this technology partnership, Payroll aims to produce concrete outcomes in the following areas.

• Build secure development and operations foundations for generative AI, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and AI agent services
• Improve and automate the initial HR BPaaS implementation process with AI
• Automatically verify payroll calculation results and improve accuracy
• Turn work schedule and attendance processes into AI agent workflows
• Maximize the added value of AI across the overall service

Payroll has already started using MCP for AI-based data integration in its June 2025 collaboration with the talent management system Kaonavi. The company explains that this partnership further strengthens those advanced initiatives from the perspective of security and governance.
